This coming week on Wednesday 26^th October at 1200 – 1400 hrs there is the Colmenar Social Club Open Day at the Arco Del Sol Restaurant in Colmemar. We will be having a “Riders Branch” stand there & promoting the new Casabermeja Branch so, if you can, please turn up with your bikes – let me know if you can make it.

Under the new RBL system which means you get 12 months membership from the day you join instead of having the common annual start date, it should be good for everyone - it also give flexibility on payment. All Legion Members have an open invitation from the Chairman and Committee of the Benajarafe RBL Branch to attend their weekly meetings. Every Friday 1230 – 1400 hrs social events etc with a great three course Menu Del Dia for only €8.50. Their meeting place is the Puerto Niza Restaurant Benajarafe which is at km 263.7 on the coast road TDM to Benajarafe.

I’m still look for a volunteer to assist me with my role as RBLR Representative for Spain if interested see me. This will help organise the “Ride Outs” etc when I’m away or busy.

11^th November 2016 – Armistice Day Service with the RBL Coin Branch

13^th November 2016 - Remembrance Service at Benajarafe, poster attached

30^th November 2016 – Shopping Trip to Gibraltar, poster attached

In limbo for 2016 – Trip to Morocco or Corsica – more detail to follow.

2017

13 – 16^th July 2017 – Faro Rally their 36^th meet – if you are interested let me know. I will not be going in 2017 so volunteers to set up our pitch will be appreciated.

14 – 16^th July 2017 - The National Rally for the Royal British Legion Riders Branch will be held in Northern Ireland location Magheramorne between Larne & Carrickfergus. This could be a great opportunity to take in this meet & possibly tour North & South Ireland. In addition if you are going by bike you will cross from France possibly having a great tour going or coming back or both ways. I will definitely be going & more info will be available on the RBLR Forum or through DP.
