Ride-Outs 2016 - Photos and Information

Another great run in the sun although at the end of the day it got very windy. We started from Benajarafe before going on to Nerja to pick up the rest of our group. Then down the beautiful Mediterranean Coast Road to Motril where we turned inland on the old Granada Road, seeing the first snow of the year, stopping at the “Castle Cafe for a coffee/snack. We then followed a scenic route via Orgiva & Lanjuron stopping at the El Surtidor Restaurant, on the way back, for an excellent lunch then home via a couple of routes. All in all, as always, it was another day in paradise having ridden 290 km with great people on fantastic roads – come and join us. DP

RBLR in Spain "Ride Out" Sunday 3rd January 2015

Our first ride of 2016 was a day of many seasons starting from Benajarafe in the sun we went via the A7 & the coast road to the Manila Café on the sea front in Los Boliches (Fuengirola) for a coffee but we all ended up having a full fry up breakfast.

Then back along the A7 to San Pedro via Marbella & up the famous mountain road to Ronda, stopping at the Venta El Madrono for coffee, by this time it was raining with heavy mist rolling in from the valleys. Then cross country via Teba Castle, now coming across rainbows, to Ardales for a drink & a snack then home to the beach at Benajarafe where the sun was shining again. All in all it was another day in paradise having ridden 280 km with great people on fantastic roads – come and join us. DP
